Description

This project involves building a Windows Server 2025 lab environment to gain hands-on experience with Active Directory, domain services, and Group Policy management. I promoted the server to a domain controller, joined a Windows 10 workstation to the domain, and created an organized structure using OUs for users, workstations, admin groups, and lab groups. I also configured security-focused Group Policy Objects to test user restrictions, administrative permissions, and workstation management. This environment helped me better understand how enterprise Windows domains are structured and how access control can be managed through Active Directory groups and policies.
